		CM710e

		The CM710e Industrial Moisture Gauge from NDC Infrared Engineering has been developed to meet the need for robust stable measurements in often aggressive industrial processing environments.
		This has required not just an accurate drift-free moisture measurement, but one that remains insensitive to process and product variables such as:
		Particle size variation Product height variation Product temperature variation Ambient lighting Relative humidity changes
		CM710e is available in IP65, IP67, ATEX Certified and Cooled housings, so it can be applied in hostile atmospheres. Where processing conditions require, CM710 can be used with a PowderVision Sampling System and for interfacing to the process, a wide variety of digital protocols are available as well as traditional analogue connectivity.

NDC Series 710e Gauges are designed to make a non-contacting measurement with the product. Ideally they are installed over a moving transport conveyor at a point in the line where the moisture is representative for control.		Every Series 710e Gauge from NDC Infrared Engineering is supplied ready to use for the application and measurement ranges our customer requires. Each gauge contains a measurement algorithm or formula which makes the gauge respond in a proportional and linear way to changes in the measured parameter.
In some locations, however, products are transported in pneumatic or gravity-fed ducts and in order to gain access to the product to make a measurement, NDC has developed the PowderVision Sampling Systems.		The purpose of a 710e Gauge is to provide you with real-time measurements to laboratory accuracy, which agree as closely as possible with your laboratory or off-line reference method.
Available in two configurations, Standard and Heavy Duty, PowderVision samplers catch the falling product in a sampling cup, measure it, through a sapphire window, and then eject it. In the case of the Standard unit, ejection is by a jet of compressed air; the Heavy Duty Unit uses a pneumatically actuated sample cup which opens and closes. The frequency of the measurement cycle is adjusted depending on the rate of product flow. GaugeToolsXLTM provides the following seven tools: Simple Display Trend History Tool Linefit Calibration Logger Configuration Gauge Utility
		The display is fully user-configurable and you can save your workspace for future use. Connectivity options include: USB, Serial and Ethernet. Running GaugeToolsXLTM on one PC, you can communicate with all gauges connected to the same network.
